Purevision 2 HD

Purevision 2 are monthly disposable contact lenses designed for extended wear of up to 30 days and nights, including during sleep.

The original extended wear Purevision lenses, packaged in a dark blue and white box have been discontinued. The current version of these lenses is often referred to as Purevision 2 HD, as the range, including the astigmatic and presbyopic lenses feature High Definition Optical Technology that helps reduce halos, glare and blurring around objects, especially in low light conditions.

The main benefit of Purevision 2 is the convenience of continuous wear. They’re ideal for workers who nap during long shifts, busy parents who need to attend children at night, travelers, and anyone who prefers not to insert and remove lenses daily.

Made from silicone hydrogel with high oxygen permeability (DK/t 130) and 36% water content, Purevision 2 lenses are FDA-approved for extended wear. However, sleeping in contact lenses does carry risks, so your optometrist will advise how long they are suitable for you to wear continuously.

Purevision 2 lenses are also known as bandage or therapeutic lenses as they are used by Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and even Vets to protect the cornea and promote healing following surgery or injury.
